Many people eat in a hurried manner and do not chew properly. This is extremely extremely important. Chewing our food provides numerous benefits like it will prevent over-eating, it prevents gas problems, it is good for digestion. So it is very beneficial for losing weight too.
It is recommended to chew each morsel of food that we put in our mouths atleast 30-50 times. This will ensure that the food is broken down properly in the mouth and it gets sufficiently mixed with the saliva which aids in digestion.
