Using Body Language to Attract Women

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. In the world of dating, this is especially true. Learning how to read the body language of attraction is an important step in realizing when someone is interested in you, how to keep them interested in you, and what they may be thinking but not expressing.

Something like 90% of all communication is non-verbal, and so learning how to read those cues will make you so much more successful in your dating life. So how do you begin? Take a look - pun intended - at these visual cues that you can pick up on to learn more about your date.

First, two of the most important things that you can learn how to read are a woman's smile and eyes. It's important to observe both; the same emotion should be expressed in both areas.

If your lady friend smiles but her eyes are flat, she's not happy. If her eyes seem happy but her smile has vanished, she may be pouting. But if both her eyes and her smile could light up an entire room, she's probably having a great time and your date is successful.

Next, watch what she doesn't with her eyes. Is she looking directly at you, or glancing away? The latter could indicate that she feels shy. The former likely means that in the body language of attraction, she's expressing that she's interested in you and you alone at this moment and so this is your opportunity to succeed. If she seems focused on something else that has nothing to do with you, she's likely lost interest and it's either time to re-engage her, or cut bait.

What is she doing with her arms and her legs? Without staring too crudely, observe how she is holding herself. If her arms are crossed, she's either cold or bored. One you can solve; the other may mean she's just not into you.

If her legs are crossed, observe whether she has them crossed towards or away from you, as well as if she's leaning close to you. Any time she learns or positions herself in your direction, it means that she's interested in you.

Has she touched you at all? What is she doing with her hands? If she's playing with her cloths or her hair, she may be very nervous. It's your job to read this and put her at ease. If she's reaching out to touch you frequently, she's probably showing her interest.

It's important when reading the body language of attraction not to get so caught up in observing that you forget to participate!

Also, remember what your own body language will be saying about you to her and control yourself accordingly! It's important not only for you to each learn how to read the other, but also to find ways to put the other more at ease or in sync. By doing so, you could be well on your way to a long term relationship!
