Gift baskets are the perfect solution for all of your gift giving needs because there are so many options to choose from. But having so many choices can often be a hindrance rather than a help. When you are uncertain about which gift basket you want to send, ask yourself these four simple questions and you will narrow down the choices to a manageable number.
1. Who is giving the gift? Okay, this seems rather obvious, you are. But we all fill many roles so are you sending this gift basket as the representative of your company or as a close personal friend or as a family member?
2. Who is receiving the gift? Think about the person and your relationship to that individual. As a representative of your company you may want to send a gift to a very valuable client or to a member of your staff. As a friend your gift may be going to a college room mate you haven't seen in years or a close friend you see often. As a member of a family, your gift may be for your mother and father, your child or elderly aunt?
3. What is the occasion? Is the gift basket being sent as a thank you for closing a large business deal? If so, will the gift be sent to one individual or to a group. Is the gift to celebrate a happy occasion such as a promotion or a birthday or a sad one like the death of a loved one?
4. What is your budget? You may have a large budget for a gift basket that is being sent to your valuable client's marketing department and a small budget for sending a "thinking of you" gift basket to your child away at college.
These questions will help you focus. By giving a little more thought to each, you will be able to get a good idea of what kind of gift basket will be most appropriate. Do a google search by typing in the key words or contact your favorite gift basket service and give them the specifics. It's that easy.
